84. Not New

Personal
Nothing much, for now. Let's just let it be.
syiok sendiri sajalah kalau tiada pembaca haha

It's a nice number anyway. 2010. Two zero one zero. Twenty-ten. Two thousand ten. Dua ribu sepuluh.

The new year countdown and activity was done away from home again. No not outside Penang or where I study. The party has dwindled down to 3 persons only namely Wheen, Hooi and I myself. It's the 3rd friendly New Year gathering.

Safely saying, we're at Queensbay all 3 times before the great overnight. All 3 nights with fireworks banging the sky. All 3 nights witnessing infestation ball-loose lala music on-stage. Bear with them we just want to spectate the firework display. Not so spectacular and big this time for the year 2010.

"wahh hao piao liang de" - "wuuahhhhhh" - "hepi niu yerrrrr"

For the year 2011, if I am at back at Penang I am going to spend it with my family. Or take them out to somewhere kia kia.. And I would like to be maybe at G-Spot..for some new year countdown gig I suppose. Anywhere to chill out and listen to good r e a l music.
My wombats usher you. To a great and a bang bang new year. Captured by my brother. resized by me.

An awkward melancholic moment at Manhattan Fish Market. Our super filling final meal of the year 2009. We were eating the ice-cream and the ambience then was not quite noisy anymore. The radio player is playing Celine Dion's Because You Loved Me. ...the feeling of being lonely suddenly rose. We're all single. So rap it...

We had some nice blues-jamming. Just natural and good sharing of lead and rhythm.

So for some more visuals and fun scrolling through...

The end of 2009 and the commencement of 2010. [Port Dickson Nov '09 + January '10]

Salvaged speaker system of my grandpa's. Served me a while before I handed it back to my brother for further salvation as I leave home.

End.

Clear enough? That's my pyjamas anyway since toddler age. It's size XS to me now. Show muscles and.. can belly dance..erh.

so yeah...

27. The Sub-Bang

Personal
~It's cool and rainy these days...

[warning: new hairstyle ahead]

I just have to post it up, it's just too beautiful..

An assignment, presentation of the part wing(self-picked) with a model at an exhibition.
The process:

[snacks..as energy]
[..(hard)work..]
[Jonathan, X and Chief Engineer Nizamuddin.]

I hope it does look like a wing to you. This is the story, the under-construction wing that you just saw in the photo was scrapped due to the difficulty in wrapping it up...so the chief engineer took it home and made a new one by himself and fell sick. Truly an engineer hah
After the presentation.
[The 1-Aero-1 wing part group: Faja(class monitor), Nizam, X and Jonat]
[Look at the hair DOT DOT DOT you know StreetFighter's Guile(or etc)~broomhead?..saddd]

Disappointing...not so good comments came out from the lecturer's mouth. Anyway, she's the only judge and the audiences were made up of random people from the other booths and visitors from other class. Not bad. Our booth had the most chicks(with tudung la) spectating. waha

AND this surely looks like the real deal. Seriously. Made by a member in my friend's group. Seriously..the real deal. Styrofoam as base. With real rivets as cosmetics, movable exact parts etc..pure ownage. MF!

wooh this would be the latest of me. Self-indulgence..chei..no la I wanna send this to my parents to show them their big boy XD
[i tell u wat..the hair is much more cooler right now(not the picture) hahahahaha]

26. The Medium Bang

Personal/Ideals

New hairstyle...
It looks new and erm...not sure I like it or not but I laugh every time I look at my shadow or into the mirror citing the shape of the crown.

Anyway, never mind. New style though. Head is lighter now. Shortest hair length ever since erm September 22nd 2007, the last student style haircut ..woohoo.. yes I keep the dates in my head. Not bad eh, senior cut at RM12 compared to RM21 for the same level at Passion in Penang. muaha
XD

Olympics 2008. Lee Chong Wei lost to Lin Dan. A spectacular loss. First set at 12-21 and then something like 7-21. Pure power loss.
Major disadvantage: The muscles. Sooo big, difference. And Lin Dan applied a great tactic in my opinion which put Chong Wei at the edge. The way he orchestrated the play, especially giving the hit which forces Chong Wei to run to the back. And with small muscle comes small power-packed hit. At least, in my opinion. And Lin Dan is faster at recovery from desperate low attacks. Overall, both performed well(because they are both better than me for sure) hahah. erh, sorry for the non-badminton terms I used. Why didn't anyone give a... HULK SMASHHHHH!!!

Hmm...brain wreckage...haven't been doing sports in a while. Most of the time chor tai tee in the room only and sleep sleep sleep

Workload piling up like at the Malaysia dump amount increment rate. So sleeping is vital. But not bad I've been able to stay static with eyes opened and ears opened a tunnel from left to right but mind on the bed during the lectures. Nevermind, it's ok..as long as you attend the lectures and receive the charm of knowledge. bla bla bla

And know what, I like the LAN Moral Studies' method of explanations. Imagine reading or listening to Stressm principles from Jared. Sometimes out-of-the-world... krappy.. subtle... meaningful but inexplanatory...etc wtf. But it ain't gona be good for my revision and exams. Shit happens at times.

But I still like it, I like it out-of-the-mind visualisation. Subjective with a hint. Quantum and superstring. whatever la..just make sure I don't fail it.

hmm...sickness never ends here, an unbroken cycle..especially with mucous and phlegms, maybe very much aggravated by lots of smoke. So the only source of pollution in this jungle is mostly Dunhill and Winston. Lungs cancer. Hypoxia.

But this one is really good, trust me. My dad has and uses it. Oh ya...want to know something? Big Bikes. Great Bikes. WAH! So far, Ducati. Suzuki. Kawasaki. And the largest and latest spotted, another Kawasaki. I only managed to get pictures of the Ducati. Inconvenient for me to post so just type search Ducati bikes in your browser. That kind of bikes..superbikes. The latest Kawasaki is a ZX-10R, imagine it. Brand new..at least if not maybe 1 year old. 1000cc sports racer! This paragraph is only dedicated to 2-wheeler lovers/fans.

Next update coming soon..
..No Stressm talk this new season..

Movin' on..
June 9th - Jared's 1st "Solo" Extravaganza Transport Outing
In the city of Georgetown... it's under attack! by madman driver Jared!
Boom! Bang! Bash! Bonk! Brenggg! Badabooom! Those were sounds from imaginations and Zero Hour game. The reality check: Start engine, shift gear, accelerate, brake, reverse, park, end of story..oh forgot to pull handbrake.

Fetched mum to office. She was worried sick/hell./heaven..I am mummee's boy! Then, to Hooi's Love Lane Sanctum. Nightwish's Dark Passion Play CD commenced playing. The Poet and the Pendulum, no... it's The Driver and the Passenger. Next stop, Disted college. Hooi's business. I went to the toilet. Oh, before that, I missed the lane to turn to go there because I was high on competing speed with an ambulance(crazy...dumb action) and later couldn't find my
pedal minyak, that scared Hooi's life out of Earth. Met Raymond, see you in Selangor, or rather Shah Alam. Next was Penang Free School. Met... MENG JON!!! In school uniform!

Accompanied him to get himself registered. Met Teik Hong AGAIN. He was accompanying his friend to get enrolled too. For Form 6 fyi... Then, sent Jon to his class. "Good morning Sir, good morning fellow friends, my name is Cheong Meng Jon, I am handsome and I am gangster so please get up and relinquish your place for me to sit." haha not that bad la. He sat a few inches away from Khang Yang. oh my..the 2 boy 1 cup saga continues...

So, during recess time we meet up again. Found Eiven. Had lunch. Then parted ways. Hooi and I went back to the car to appease ourselves with Nightwish music while waiting for Andrew. Heavy raining. We then moved to SK CC! RM1 per hour. Good right! Owned kao kao by 4 medium armies..wth. Then owned by Andrew single-handedly by his yeah-damn-great-10plus-comanches. Hooi challenged me to a football match. It's MU vs Bayern Munich. I lost 0-4. I also lost one D-Day game to Hooi who used Panda hero. Second game, Jon joined. Jon and I owned Hooi, finally. Tichondrius' Legion metamorphosis ho liau right...

It's 5 minutes passed 5pm! Rushed to accomplish the day's objectives! Jon was laughing all the way because he didn't need to be the driver anymore and I AM DRIVING FOR HIM now...hmm...sardonically. His era ends, my turn to set the roads on fire. Dropped N-Drooling back at school to retrieve his m-cycle. Next stop, Adelyn's home sweet home! Well, to see her again and present her a last year's PFS Magazine. fuahh..the editor's gift.. NEXTTT! Dropped Jon at Passion haircut studio. It's good to go at closing and peak hours when they are short of trainee stylists to get you a RM5 cut so for RM5, I got a professional's cut last time and Jon got a senior's cut this time.

Then, return Hooi from hostage to his forsaken Sanctum. wow, 6pm already and my mum was waiting painstakingly. Sorry!!! I retired for the day once I stopped to get my mum in... hands and legs all shaking after a whole day's scary encounters..ok la, a little bit stressful in a busy traffic... oh ya we went to fetch Jon from the studio and then we went home.

Comments:
"Wicked"~Hooi
"A bit scary, not for the fainthearted"~Jon

This is the new era. The new generation. It's my generation. Just look up...

6.5. Kerachut

Friends & Family
Happy Wesak Day on May 19 to all the Buddhists, Buddhism followers and those who derived principles and practises from Buddha's teachings. Om, may Peace be unto all. May there be less stress in our lives.

Ok. By request from my girlfriend, I was called to post up the photos. No videos.
Click it!

That's all, folks.
YW has his point of view too.
Here.

11. A Touch, A Toast, A Tribute

Ideals
This is a tribute to the music scenes, entertainers, pioneers, metalheads, rockers and all the fans out there who made headbanging sounds cool and feels even better if you do it.
Look back into the music videos or live footages from the modern era of 90s' scene until maybe only the beginning of the 2nd millennium then you will know what I would like to highlight here at this moment. Those were the times you see people wearing gas masks to protect from tear gas, riots happening during or after concerts and the venues guarded by policemen. And yeah before the 90s', you see guitarists smoking while shredding and vocalist stage-dive to punch a fan only to halt the show which led to a massive riot(you know who did this, particularly at St. Louis.). Those were also the times where you still enjoy seeing drum set crashings, guitar smashings and puking while you fight your way out of the mosh pit. And music way back then did not bother or cared if they would offend any fan(fans love to strip and rather leave the show on a stretcher than walk out unstained by blood) or fear any governmental/political issue setbacks. Renegades they are through music(I have earlier posted a video by Rage Against The Machine and there's an update to the info, also a related post). These are real entertainment. Something amusing. Not for the faint-hearted. Not for marketing(though they get media attention but at least they are shocking and unique news unlike pop celebrity sex scandals, those are mere global mainstream prostitution in disguise haah).

Not just rock, hip-hop and funk or electronica-esque and etc. etc. What do I see hip-hop and R&B in the radio and TV these days? Bling-blings, Lamborghinis, hot bikini-clad black girls and big bungalows... Hip-hop in those times did not bling(maybe because video quality was grainy), no they didn't have to show off their gold ornaments, they usually show their suburban lifestyle or how they grew up with animosity it's about the music. Yeah whole lotta white boys in the hip-hop rap too or collaborate with the blacks too. Mainstream ones which I know of are Eminem and Beastie Boys. Yeah, take Buckethead with Praxis. Funk off dudes and babes...

hmm...what about hairbands? Glam rock... theatrical acts. You know Motley Crue, the only hairband I know if you know others do recommend me.
Here, http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/listoftheday/32122/the-25-best-hair-metal-bands is a site with 25 examples, thanks Hooi. Eye-opener. If you don't know, hairbands are those rockers who spot super cool big standing fluffy long colourful plus makeups and flashy balls-spanking spandex(when stretched and released) outfits. So they make the glam rock too, glamourous. Ye-Wheen, I can still remember the way you describe and told us about X-Japan's Toshi's hairstyle in their earlier days. They are sexy you know for straight guys. In the west, I don't know of anyone who still come out beautiful. But in Japan, I know they are still hot and they fall under the category of visual-kei usually in Jrock genre. You know what, Ye-Wheen, Hooi, Meng Jon, Jonathan and Khang Yang, we would make a great hairband. You see, we are all very particular about our hairstyles, "waa YW's hair so cute," "waa Jona's hair so gay or malay rock," "waa Jon's hair so goodboy" "waa Hooi's hair like gangster or Kyo," "waa KY's hair so wth". ah...those days when we all used to come to school spotting new hairstyles thinking that we were "cool" only to be laughed out loud at because the barber/hairstylist was drunk. ah, the stress we had trying so hard to get our hair right.

And if you know Wayne of Static-X, he's one guy I can spot with a special hairstyle and they say he's vegetarian. Almost like black metal but I doubt they were or maybe.

Those who like vampire in Twilight may like vampires in this video. Static-X - Cold. Hey, Aaliyah(R.I.P) is featured in this video(OST for Queen of The Damned). And Jonathan Davis of Korn is the producer. Wouh, I just found out how good the Queen Of The Damned soundtrack is, I recommend it.

There's one pop genre I like which is what some described as 'Death Pop'. Sounds great for a pop genre and the band whom they described is Orgy. Go check them out if you are curious on how they sound like.

Anyway, I've only wanted to post some photos of this particular band from Iowa but somehow today's mind block just happened to automatically remove itself after finding them in Last.fm website. The other photos are also from there. Here I present you Slipnot. "Hooi, Ye-Wheen, Quan Yu...embrace Slipknot" my sermon way back in 2004. Quan Yu said, "cool masks but sorry not my type, i still want to kill the science teacher a.k.a The Queen". Hooi and YW said, "Yes, master...". Jon, the benchwarmer says, "no thanks my style is Man Bai - Kau Ilhamku". LTMAC
Look, they are way too cool. 9 piece headbangers. Corey's roar does not sound like the 1st two albums anymore, sing too much ballad I guess but we will, yes we will patiently wait for highly-anticipated 4th album. Click it!
oh(20 minutes later) I found this out. Look at the last collage, that's the first splash teaser picture for their latest album. Taken from wikipedia, also, Joey says, "It's going to be heavy as f*ck! It's going to be heavier than 'Vol. 3...' but just as weird and as experimental, " and Corey says "It's going to rip your face off...I don't think the world will be ready for this album," and stated this album's lyrics will be less about his life and more, "bitching about what's wrong in life...". Get ready, people... for all we know people=shit. haah

Post-script: Don't abandon Marilyn Manson! Don't leave him alone. He needs to be heard.
And this song, Ozzy Osbourne - Gets Me Through to wash away your misconception.

ah, fellow rocker guys... we just have to really go to these rock scenes in big stadiums one day. We missed it for over 20 years already. Walk on home, boy.

Keep On Rockin'...

[Song title thievery from Slipknot - People=Shit, Pantera's Walk and Neil Young's Keep On Rockin' In The Free World]

May 16 of 2008 also celebrates my first time not celebrating Teachers' Day in school with teachers after 12 grueling years of schooling. The first being my 2nd year in kindergarten as a 6 year old. Then the last be Form 5 last year. Time flies and another two years I will hit two decades... and I haven't been posting on something more productive heh.. nevermind, there are 2 blastocysts still in drafts, kicking in soon.
